London based New Yorker, Corey Baker teams up with New York based DJ & Quaterlife Records Boss Indicant, for a sparring match of epic proportions.
Two trax on offer here, first up The Jam, is a collaboration between the two, and results in a sleazy tech house number, driven by a tight groove and infectious synth nuggets.
Two remixes of The Jam are courtesy of Data Transmission Editor and DJ Ben Gomori and London based Italian DJ/Producer Sekond Skin.
Ben Gomori turns in the Chilli Jam remix, a sub bass driven beast of a track, whilst Sekond Skin warps it into a minimal tech groove.
Corey Baker goes solo with Holes, a slice of tribal, funked out House. Indicant rears his head again, remixing Holes. Taking things down a more wonky, oft kilter avenue.

Each tune gets a remix from some great producers. First up we have the tune Holes, punchy bubbly beats and bass line put good energy in to the tune.Crisp percussion laced together with infectious vocal snipps hold the break down and at the forefront of your dancing moves .... building itself in to a frenzy just for the beats to kick back in .. Solid and smooth... Good tune ! Next Quaterlife Records Boss Indicant slides us a wonky house jam designed for those sick dark points on your sweaty heady dance floor full of 3am house bods.. The beats will get you locked in for sure ... did me .. hard to choose a better rerub .. both the tunes here are strong and will get DJ support ! The 2nd tune on the EP is Title track The Jam - the original is a zippy tech edged affair with the beats cascading in a well shaped manner turning this joint in to a serious house tune.. On Remix duty for this tune is Transmission Editor, DJ and Saytek collaborator Ben Gomori. Ben diggs in deep with a huge sub heavy workout .. going to be great in the mix .. Rounding this EP off we see London based Italian DJ/Producer Sekond Skin delivers a stripped back minimal style tech house number.. loads of infectious beats melded in to the track , adding new layers when needed to slide the listener / dancer in to a false sense of security .. only to bounce right back at them with some tight percussion... what a bouncy tech house EP ! Coming on strong this year for Electric Sheep Recordings with a string of great releases .. Check Them Out On The Web ...8/10
